Teign Ladies 2s 0 – Dart 3
An Injury stricken Teign Ladies 2s side made great
improvements on recent results but still fell 3-0 at home to a skilful Dart
Ladies 1s team, their third league defeat in a row.
The first half proved to be costly as Teign valiantly defend
but were unable to prevent Dart from scoring all of their goals before the
interval following an organised performance from the visitors.
To their credit Teign regrouped at half time and made tactical
changes, adding youthful energy to their midfield in Megan Bruce and Becky
Gallagher, who shared the plaudits as joint ‘Player of the Match’. Despite
applying considerable pressure and creating multiple chances, Teign were unable
to register a deserved goal.
Teign will face ISCA 4s next weekend hoping that their form
continues to improve and the results finally fall their way.
