Teign A 9 - 1 Minehead B
Teign A followed a narrow defeat last week with a first win
of the season against Minehead B. Even though minehead only started the game
with 8 players, they defended well in the first half until teign got the first
goal. minehead did equalise in the first half to make it 1 - 1. Teign had a
couple more chances before the break but the score stayed at 1 - 1. In the
second half teign finally got into the game much more and created lots more
chances. And as the half went on minehead were getting more tired with the lack
of players they had at there disposal. Teign capatilised on this and quickly
took the game beyond doubt. Two hat tricks from Pete Brooks and Nathaniel
Christian-John. also a debut goal from one of our up and coming juniors Tom
Price who impressed well playing his first senior game. also goals from
returning Ryan Bougourd and Will Boyne continued his fine form with a goal as
well. Teign A are away this saturday against Taunton Vale D were Teign are
lookin for their second win of the season.
